Walmart Wonderlab

Walmart Wonder Lab is an interactive experience featuring fun toy video content for kids,
allowing them to discover all the best toys, unbox them their way, and start to play!
Walmart Wonder Lab is also COPPA-compliant, meaning it’s safe for kids.

This is a freelance project for Eko to update several tasks associated with the Wonderlab Wishlist page, including revising the instruction page, improving the email format, and optimizing the mobile page for a better user experience. I mainly used Figma, Lottie, and AE for this project.

The purpose of these updates is to improve the functionality and user experience of the Wonderlab Wishlist page, a central hub for interactive toy demos. These demos are automatically adapted for Walmart product pages, aiding parents in making more informed purchase decisions.

01 Wishlist Instruction Page

Through the testing, Eko found that users love starting with toy demos, usually playing with around three to get a feel for things. When they're ready to explore more, they make it easy by showing extra features like the "like" button or wishlist, exactly when and where they need them.
And this short instruction page pop up helps them know what to expect and get excited about testing toys!

02 email redesign

Kids can “heart” their favorite toys and add them to a wishlist,
plus they can send a one-time email to their parents.
When parents tap “buy now” in the email, it takes them straight to the Walmart product page, where they can check out the interactive toy demo too!

03 mobile page redesign

The Wonderlab is optimized for landscape mode,
so we added a fun little animation that prompts users to
rotate their device for the best experience!
